Planning Engineer
Location: Easter Ross, Highland
Duration: Initial 4-month contract, with potential to become permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are currently seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support an exciting expansion programme at an established shore-based facility in the Highlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner with experience in fabrication, construction or maintenance to play a key role in developing and implementing a suite of planning and reporting tools to support future operations.
 
The Role
Initially, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a series of standardised planning templates and reporting formats, including:

Tender Forecast Schedules
Production Schedules
Operations & Planned Maintenance Schedules
Equipment Utilisation Schedules
Resource Forecast Schedules
Monthly Planning & Reporting FormatsWorking closely with the Facility Manager and operational teams, you will help establish consistent and effective planning processes that can support the facility's ongoing growth and expansion strategy.
 
About You
We are looking for a Planning Engineer who has:

Proven experience in a planning role, ideally within fabrication, construction, maintenance or a similar industrial environment.
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Experience developing planning schedules, forecasting resources and monitoring operational performance.
Good understanding of production, maintenance and resource planning.
Strong analytical and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently while engaging effectively with operational and management teams.
Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to developing planning systems and processes.What's on Offer
