PLANNING AND FORECASTING MANAGER (ENGINEERING)
HULL/ NORTH WEST

£60,000

Our client, a not-for-profit organisation,, are looking for a Planning and Forecasting Manager to join their fast-paced and rapidly growing team. In this newly created role as a Planning and Forecasting Manager, you will be responsible for identifying fundamental asset management & planning issues, bringing rigorous analytical thinking in to the business and support the business to run more efficiently and maximise field based engineering resource.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Planning and Forecasting Manager , you will be:

* Leading and maximising data, asset management and planning reporting and analytics capability through the ownership of existing software along with real time engagement

* Presenting new ideas, management information, analysis and insights at a senior level to lead and influence strategic discussions and strategic objectives

* Delivering business insight across multiple delivery streams through consistency of taxonomy

* Enhancing quality of planning works and optimise the ratio of engineers within the national business

* Developing and maximising capacity modelling to drive recruitment optimisation and reduce costs

* Developing productivity incentivisation schemes for engineering performance delivery and performance coaching for key stakeholders

* Managing the recruitment, performance management and development of staff to ensure that the resources are managed effectively to meet business needs

WHAT YOU NEED

To be considered for the role of Planning and Forecasting Manager , you will need:

* Wealth of experience of data modelling tools and techniques

* Proven experience in a similar role around resource planning of field based engineering teams

* Degree or relevant professional qualification in Engineering e.g. ONC/ HNC or Higher is desirable

* Full, current UK driving licence

* Comprehensive experience of managing projects with strong project management skills

* Experience of building and sustaining working relationships with key stakeholders

* Experience of operating systems, ideally FSM and other SAP tools

* Applied knowledge of working within a regulated industry

* Experience of producing management information reporting

* Must be commutable to Hull and happy to work in a hybrid role
