We're looking for a dedicated and resourceful Planner Coordinator to join our client's team. The company is a well-established firm in Birmingham, Solihull Parkway, committed to delivering top-notch services to its customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing a team of drivers to ensure customer SLA’s are met and productivity is maximised.

Candidates must have their own transport when applying for this role.

The Role:

As a Planner Coordinator, you will:

* Book work for the drivers throughout the day

* Be aware of client requirements when allocating drivers

* Understand individual drivers' skills and abilities

* Search for extra drivers who are available

* Coordinate breakdowns and any other collection/delivery issues

* Enforce the company's driver code of conduct

* Liaise with the administration department to resolve driver pay issues / queries

* Respond quickly to real-time events such as traffic delays, breakdowns and last minute requests

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift; 08:00 – 19:00.

The Candidate:

The ideal Planner Coordinator candidate should have:

* Excellent planning and coordination skills

* Ability to manage a team effectively

* Good understanding of customer service level agreements

* Ability to handle complaints professionally

The Package:

The Planner Coordinator role comes with an annual salary between £25,000 - £25,500.
