Introduction
Our client, a reputable company in the Nuclear sector, is currently seeking a talented Planner to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in Project Controls, specifically in A/D projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring effective planning and project management, contributing to the overall success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-leading software, including Microsoft Project (MSP) and Primavera P6.
Provide accurate and timely progress reports, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project data, ensuring the accuracy of project plans.
Assist in the identification and mitigation of project risks, supporting the development of effective risk management strategies.
Contribute to the overall project control strategy, proactively suggesting improvements and implementing best practices.
Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
Monitor project performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for optimization.
Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Job Requirements
Significant experience in Project Controls, with a particular focus on A/D projects within the Nuclear sector.
Proficiency in using industry-standard software, including Microsoft Project (MSP) and Primavera P6.
Excellent understanding of project planning principles, scheduling techniques, and risk management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Hold current SC clearance and ideally DV clearance.
