PLANNER – WEST LONDON
Our client is a large main contractor based in West London. This client specialises in new build and refurbishment projects from £10m up to in excess of £100m.
Job Summary:
Planner to work on large new build / refurbishment projects in Central London. Reporting into the Construction Director.
Role / Responsibilities
* Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
* Drawing up the tender programme and contribute to tender queries
* Cooperate with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works.
* The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
* Prepare a resourced programme
* Provide a schedule of temporary works
* Attend the tender review meetings
* Attending the handover meetings
* Working day to day along the other site based teams
Ideal Candidate
* Construction background
* Previous experience as a Planner
* Experience on Primavera P6 and Asta systems
* An industry applicable qualification.
* Proven track record from similar sector specific organisations.
* Able to work as part of a team
* Previous UK Construction experience is preferred.
* Ability to manage the sub-contractors on site
* A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines.
* An excellent communicator.
* Have strong commercial awareness.
* Good IT knowledge
