Senior Planning Engineer / Senior Planner – Energy & Infrastructure

Are you an experienced Planning Engineer or Senior Planner with strong P6 experience looking for your next opportunity within the energy and infrastructure sector?

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer / Senior Planner to support a major substation project in Bingally, offering the opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project with a leading contractor.

The Opportunity

This is an immediate requirement for a Senior Planning professional with strong Primavera P6 experience who can support the project team across both office and site environments.

The role will involve a combination of working from either the Kilsyth or Inverness office, alongside regular site visits as required. With site visits expected most weeks, you'll need to be comfortable with travelling as part of the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to bring their planning expertise into a major power and energy infrastructure project, working closely with the wider project team to support successful delivery.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Planning professional who can hit the ground running and bring strong planning capability to the project.

You should have:

Strong Primavera P6 experience
Previous experience working as a Senior Planning Engineer or Senior Planner
UK project experience
The ability to work across both office and site environments
Flexibility and willingness to travel to site most weeks
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience within the power, energy or wider infrastructure sector would be advantageous

Working Arrangements

The role will be based between either the Kilsyth or Inverness office, with regular travel to site expected.

An immediate start is required, with the rate/package open to discussion depending on experience.

Permanent Opportunity Also Available

Alongside the Senior Planning requirement, we would also be interested in speaking with strong permanent Planning Engineers / Planners who have relevant UK experience, particularly those with a background in power or energy projects.
