We have a couple of very lucrative opportunities for senior planners in London, to work in an industry that has over £2b spend and has a lifecycle of 5 + years on various schemes. We will be keen to speak with planners that want to work on site, have the right understanding of planning principles, this does not mean JUST software usage, this job requires you to walk the site, make sure you understand the data, question data, push back engineers updates if they are not logical or realistic, but most of all and 10 years at Uni doesn’t give you this - ….wait for it……”common flipping sense” when inputting your updates into Primavera. If you can own a programme and not be spoon-fed data that just isn’t correct, then in the words of the legend Terry Tibbs “TALK 2’ ME”
* Significant experience in the use of planning techniques.
* Experience in a site role (Engineering, planning, management) for a Tier 1 contractor
* Experience working in different sectors, clients, and contract types
* Experience of a variety of construction techniques, methods, and processes.
* Experience in contract administration
* Experience in identification, quantification, and agreement of change
* Proficient in the use of planning software (P6, Asta).
* Ideally Degree educated, preferably in a Construction / Engineering discipline
* Ideally Chartered Engineer, CIOB, APM or equivalent – or working towards
