Planner Temp to PermHamilton

Full-time, 12-week temp-to-perm
Our client is a leading commercial and domestic maintenance contractor providing a wide range of maintenance services to customers across the region.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an organised and proactive Planner to join their busy office team in Hamilton.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning jobs from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring engineers have everything they need to carry out work efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and scheduling maintenance jobs and engineer workloads
Liaising with engineers, customers and the Contracts Manager
Ordering and coordinating materials required for jobs
Monitoring job progress and updating systems accordingly
Ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and within agreed timescales
Dealing with queries and resolving scheduling issues
General administration and supporting the Contracts Manager as requiredAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident communicating with people. Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, coordination or administration role would be advantageous, particularly within maintenance, construction or a similar environment.
However, full training will be provided for the right person.
You will need to be comfortable working in a busy office environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritising your workload.
