Our client are a leading construction and civil engineering company working across the UK and Ireland. They work within the healthcare, education, defence, commercial and industrial sectors.

Our client are looking for a Planner based in Birmingham, this role will include travel. The successful candidate will need to be location in the Midlands.

Role:

The successful candidate will be a traditional construction planner working within a team of planners across London and Belfast.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop, build and update programmes for multiple projects across a range of disciplines
Help the team to identify and evaluate the risks within the project, not only with regards to planning, but the whole project
Ensure all programmes under their control are updated and reviewed in line with the planning procedure / work instruction
Comply with and undertake all relevant Environment, Health and Safety measures and activities

Essential Requirements:

At least 10 years working experience
Strong working knowledge project management software such as Powerproject, P6 and Microsoft Project
Have NEC programme / contract delivery experience
Generating and distribute reports on project schedules, progress and performance indicators

Desirable:

UK drivers license
Experience within either marine, roads, rail, energy etc.
