Pit Bottom - Active Tunnelling - Sedgeletch
We are looking for an experienced Pit Bottom to join Active Tunnelling on a tunnelling project in Sedgeletch.
Start Date: 16th October
Finish Date: 30th November
Location: Sedgeletch
Work: Shafts, pits and pipejacking
Duties will include:
Working at the bottom of shafts and pits
Supporting tunnelling and pipejacking operations
Receiving and sending materials and equipment within the shaft
Communicating with the Top Man and lifting team
Assisting with the safe movement of loads
Maintaining a safe and organised working area
Following all site health and safety proceduresRequirements:
Previous Pit Bottom, shaft or tunnelling experience
Pipejacking experience preferred
Relevant valid tickets
Good understanding of lifting operations
