Piping Designer

We have a great opportunity for a Piping Designer to join an industrial engineering client in Surrey, designing piping systems for cryogenic liquid gases with SP3D.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering conceptual to final piping designs for process plant projects in the UK and EMEA. Must be an expert in the field of piping and layouts. Providing support to engineering and construction. There will also be an element of support for the EMEA project bid and proposals team.

We are looking for 7-10 years of Piping Design experience working within a manufacturing, plant or process industry, on gases or chemical piping at cryo / low temperatures. We will be looking for experience in SP3D or PDS Piping software and associated modules. As well as pipe support and pipe stress

The role is semi hybrid with visits to the office for three days per week. The contract will be for 12 months, which with the project load, is likely to be extended. The contract is for a vacant role to start as soon as possible, as is working on a new live project. The client will be looking for a minimum of Higher National Certificates / Diploma in relevant subject, with around 7-10 years of Piping Design experience.

The rate will be negotiable dependent on your experience. The company is a great environment to work in, and you will be surrounded by a tam of subject matter experts. This is a great opportunity for a Designer to move on to a senior role.
