Description:
Our client, a notable entity in the Defence & Security sector, is presently seeking a Pipe Fabricator (Local) to join their team on a contractual basis. The successful individual will engage in critical projects within the defence industry, including submarine solutions, where attention to detail and adherence to strict safety and quality standards are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricating and assembling pipework for various defence projects
Adhering to technical drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work meets industry safety and quality standards
Collaborating with other trades and project teams
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
Following shift patterns including standard shifts, 3 on 4 off, and night shifts
Job Requirements:
Experience in pipefitting within a trade or industrial environment
Strong understanding of technical drawings and fabrication techniques
Ability to work in compliance with health and safety regulations
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work various shift patternsPAYE
