8am - 5pm Monday to FridayPile Design Engineer Position Overview

Responsible for all preparation of pile designs for tendering and contracts.
Contract submissions of pile designs would include production of schedule and calculation pack.
Able to coordinate and manage between inhouse design and external where this is utilised from time to time.
Oversea other designers (estimator designers predominately; where design isn't necessarily their primary job role).
Review of tender drawings, specifications and ground conditions.
Production of efficient designs for CFA, SFA, Rotary and Retaining walls and providing cost effective solutions.
Be confident to think outside the box and providing alternative solutions to clients for VE.
Represent the company in meetings with clients.
Assist with, or take the lead with closing out of design related Non-Conformances (NCR's) or NCR which require design review as and when.
Have the ability to coordinate with internal team and external client to overcome site issues.Pile Design Engineer Position Requirements

Must have minimum 5 years' proven experience in piling
Knowledge of relevant British standards & Eurocodes
A working knowledge of industry software
Experience of developing foundation design, including pile design.
