Overview
IRS Group (IRS) is looking for a focused, reliable and hardworking Picker & Packer to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on role where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. You will be responsible for picking the correct products, accurately counting quantities and packing orders to the required standard, while working efficiently to meet daily deadlines and targets.
Key responsibilities
* Picking products accurately and efficiently
* Counting products carefully and ensuring the correct quantity is packed in each order
* Packing products ready for dispatch
* Checking quantities and orders for accuracy
* Working to daily targets and deadlines
* Maintaining a clean and organised working area
* Following workplace procedures and instructions
* Working as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met
About you
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Good with numbers and confident counting accurately
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to work at pace without compromising accuracy
* Comfortable working to deadlines and targets
* Motivated and focused
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous picking/packing or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
Hours: Morning shift, with the working day commencing from approximately 7:00am. Exact shift hours will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of ongoing work depending on performance and client requirements.
