Supply Desk is on the lookout for an enthusiastic PE Teacher for an exciting new position in the area of Hughenden Valley. We're searching for a someone who can foster a safe and supportive environment where all students are motivated to learn, grow, and excel in physical education

Role: Physical Education Teacher

Location: Hughenden Valley

Start: September 2024

About the role:

Creating and delivering comprehensive PE lesson plans that encourage physical activity, skill development, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Teaching students, a variety of sports, games, and activities, tailoring lessons to accommodate different skill levels and interests.
Evaluating and tracking students' progress in physical skills and fitness.
Cultivating a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and mutual respect.
Demonstrating and emphasising proper techniques and safety practices during physical activities.
Working with colleagues to integrate PE with other subjects and school initiatives.
Organising and overseeing extracurricular sports and fitness programs, such as intramural sports and fitness clubs.
Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and participation in PE.
The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
Strong knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum
Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Be a committed team player
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Able to commute to Hughenden Valley and the surrounding areas
