Are you a Middleweight or Senior PHP Web Developer with a skills set centred around OOP PHP and MySQL? This could be the role for you - you can work from home for 2 or 3 days and still receive great benefits and salary. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team and develop and grow your skill set. Salary is to £40k-£45k p.a. but we might look higher for great candidates.

You'll be building robust eCommerce PHP development projects. You'll have a PHP Web Development background with ideally an eCommerce edge to your skills-set.

You'll be able to work from home 2 or 3 days a week but you'll need to be based in South Devon.

We seek a Web Developer; core responsibilities will be to develop and maintain websites and APIs. Some experience of working on e-commerce systems, using REST based services and OOP methodologies will help. You will be skilled in PHP and MySQL development with additional exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc... (although this is not a front-end development role). Experience of working with Social Media (Facebook & Twitter API's) will help. Proficiency with Windows, Mac, or Linux/Unix. Knowledge of more than one platform is preferable, as is knowledge of Symfony or Laravel frameworks.

This could suit a mid-weight or senior level candidate looking to move into a more senior role or a candidate with a couple of years of commercial web development experience under his or her belt. Creative agency experience is preferred but is not required.

Above all, you'll need a good knowledge of PHP and web database applications and analytical programming techniques.

You will also need to demonstrate the right attitude and good communication skills.

Our client is an ambitious organisation able to offer the right candidates lots of responsibility on interesting projects centred around a very stable client listing. They have recently won a large, long-term project so they have stacks of work on and are looking for a good candidate to join their development team. This group is stable and already employ 30 people in a great office location.
