Our client is one of the Midlands’ finest web agencies with an unparalleled success rate in producing engaging and effective websites and cloud applications and is looking for a web developer to join their growing team.
With a portfolio showcasing everything from complex e-commerce solutions, and cloud-based SaaS products to simple brochure sites all with a Digital Marketing offering, the agency is a fully established, leading name within the industry.
This role would suit someone with a proven background in building websites and web applications using PHP (Laravel preferred) and who has experience in delivering innovative scalable web-based solutions.
The successful applicant will have more than 3 years of commercial PHP experience, will need to hit the ground running and be able to jump straight into our existing projects.
Essential Skills:
At this moment in time, we are focusing on these main skills.
* Full stack experience.
* Experienced in PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
* 3+ Years experience with Laravel or Symfony desired
* Knowledge of SOLID principles is not essential but an advantage
* Database schema design focuses on crafting efficient database structures that align with specific application requirements, as well as optimizing complex queries to enhance overall database performance.
* Experience and knowledge in either Vue, React or Svelte with projects to show
* TDD or Unit testing experience
* Typescript experience is an advantage, but not required
* Experience in Flutter or Expo Go/React Native is an advantage
* Knowledge of Headless architecture is an advantage
* Skilled expertise with Figma or Adobe XD (Training available)
* Strong communication skills both written and verbally
* Experience in WordPress desired (not essential)
