Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.
What’s the role?
Our client is seeking someone who can interact with their clients and has strong skills in PHP and MySQL. This person should also be familiar with WordPress and have some front-end and back-end development experience. Having experience in a similar role is advantageous.
We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join our client’s team. You'll work closely with their Director, as an integral part of their expanding team.
Your responsibilities will include handling website support requests, completing essential projects, meeting their clients and managing ongoing monthly support retainers.
The role is based in our client’s office in central Sheffield, it is a permanent position.
This job requires you to work in the office at least three days a week. It cannot be done fully remotely.
You need to be legally allowed to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Solving PHP and MySQL challenges effectively
* Working with their clients to fulfil retainers, tasks and projects
* Handling urgent support issues with finesse
* Developing websites from a provided design
* Working with the marketing team on any web issues
* Experience with WordPress development, including hands-on experience in creating custom themes and templates.
Essential tech skills you’ll need:
* PHP
* MySQL
* GIT
* HTML/CSS
Desirable skills:
Will be involved in the job, but you'd likely know or pick these up.
