We're recruiting for an established specialist supplier serving the construction and manufacturing sectors, looking for a Phone-Based Sales Executive to join its close-knit team in Norwich.

This is an opportunity to combine customer service, relationship building and sales in a varied role where great service matters more than aggressive targets.

What will you be doing?

Managing customer enquiries by phone and email
Sourcing products, preparing quotations and processing orders
Building relationships and developing existing accounts
Identifying upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities
Reconnecting with lapsed customers
Negotiating with suppliers and resolving customer queries
What are we looking for?

Someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems and spotting opportunities.
You'll have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
Experience within nuts, bolts, fixings, fasteners or similar industrial supplies is highly preferred. Experience in internal sales, account management or customer service within a related industry would also be advantageous.
You'll be confident building customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and taking ownership of enquiries from start to finish.
