Salary: London Fringe MPS - UPS (£34,397 - £52,488 per annum) or £169 - £263 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent opportunities available)
Start Date: September 2026 (Immediate start available for the right candidate)

The successful candidate will initially join on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent contract for the right individual.

The Role

You will deliver high-quality teaching in Year 4 while providing leadership across Lower Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in driving pupil outcomes, supporting staff, and contributing to school improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum.
Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Assess and track pupil progress effectively.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.Leadership Responsibilities

Lead and support the Lower KS2 phase to ensure high standards.
Work with senior leaders on school improvement priorities.
Support and develop colleagues within the phase.
Contribute to curriculum development and consistency.Wider Contribution

Work closely with parents and carers to support learning.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times.Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
KS2 teaching experience, ideally in Lower KS2.
Strong classroom practice with proven pupil outcomes.
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a phase leadership role.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
