Our client is seeking a Pharmacist Manager at their newly refurbished branch in North Wales (LL65) on a permanent basis, ideally working a minimum of 36 hours per week over 5 days. The branch is open Monday to Saturday (9am to 6pm) and is closed on Sundays, so there are early and late shifts available (applicants must be flexible to work both shift patterns).

Due to the limited access to GPs in the area, our client is ideally seeking an experienced Independent Prescriber to facilitate prescribing for patients under the Welsh NHS Contract. The Welsh Government is currently funding the IP course, so this could also be the perfect opportunity for someone seeking to acquire this qualification!

Paying £47,185 to £64,879 (£25.21 to £34.66 p/h) depending on experience, and our client offers excellent benefits that help make it a great place to work, including annual bonus at 20%, GPhC fees covered, store savings and more!

Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist Manager

* GPhC registered Pharmacist, trained and accredited to provide Welsh Services is required.

* Ideally an Independent Prescriber but not essential. This can be supported to complete if required.

* Pharmacy management experience is highly desirable, but Junior Pharmacists with enthusiasm to learn and step into management will also be considered.

* Passionate about leading and empowering a team.

* Approachable and customer-focussed attitude.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager

* Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers.

* Play an active role in charities support programme giving advice to people in the community at risk of, or living with, cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

* Lead, train, and develop colleagues.

* Use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, so you’re always there to meet our customers’ needs.
