PGCE Tutor
Turn Your Training into Meaningful 1:1 Support
We're looking for PGCE-qualified Tutors to support children and young people across Hampshire through personalised 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored support to learners of all ages, from primary through to post-16 education. Many students require alternative educational provision due to SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, medical needs, or other barriers to learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a PGCE who are looking for flexible work that allows them to use their teaching skills in a more personalised setting while making a genuine difference to vulnerable learners.

Requirements
PGCE qualification
Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including teaching, tutoring, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across Hampshire
