Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Personal Advisor to join our team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support and guidance to clients who are leaving care, helping them navigate personal, educational, or career challenges. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one support and advice to clients on personal, educational, and career issues.

* Develop and implement personalized action plans to help clients achieve their goals.

* Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and areas for development.

* Offer guidance on educational and career opportunities, including application processes and financial aid.

* Assist clients in overcoming barriers to personal and professional growth.

* Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and progress.

* Collaborate with other professionals and organizations to provide comprehensive support services.

* Stay up-to-date with local resources, educational programs, and employment opportunities.

* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of advisory services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar advisory or support role.
- Strong understanding of educational and career development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and patient approach to client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of local resources and services in Nottingham is a plus.
