Personal Advisor, £18.40ph, Liverpool
Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Personal Advisor. As a PA for leaving care, the postholder will be working with a group of amazing young people who come from diverse backgrounds and who have a range of life experiences.

The successful candidate will need to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to motivate young people and to inspire them to make the most of their potential. They will creatively source appropriate support with regards to suitable accommodation, education and employment opportunities as well as provide them with the emotional, social and practice skills to promote independent living. They will also work closely with the permanence service to provide tailored support, accurate guidance and advice on transition planning for young people leaving care.
 
Requirements:

Hold at least a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent and have strong direct experience working with vulnerable children and young people within or leaving the care system.
Sound understanding of legislation, as well as financial and benefit entitlements for care leavers.This is an agency post and Pertemps can offer you:
