Job Description:

As a Looked After and Permanence Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people who are in the care system or in need of permanence solutions.

You will work closely with social workers, foster carers, adoptive families, and other professionals to ensure the well-being and stability of these vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with social workers to assess the needs of children and young people in care and develop appropriate care plans.
Support the matching and placement process for children and young people requiring foster care or adoption.
Coordinate and participate in family finding activities to identify suitable permanent placements.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families, ensuring their needs are met.
Conduct regular visits and reviews to assess the progress and well-being of children and young people.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, case files, and documentationRequirements:

- Degree in Social Work.-

- Social Work England (SWE) as a Social Worker

- Proven experience in child protection social work.

- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to safeguarding children.

- In-depth knowledge of UK child protection legislation and policies.
