Spire Murrayfield Hospital is recruiting an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join their warm and friendly team, on a permanent basis to work in anaesthetic and or recovery

Duties and responsibilities

Working as part of this friendly and supportive team you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including Major Orthopaedic including robotic and foot and ankle, laparoscopic, bariatrics, Robotics gynaecology and urology, Spinal, Breast
You will be required to provide exemplary care in the recovery or post-operative phase of surgery using appropriate clinical knowledge including support from other team members
Respect the patient's dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs while in your care
Maintain high standard of care and effective communication to patients
Undertaking coordinating roles within area when no team lead availableWho we're looking for

Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with recovery / PACU (Post Anaesthetic Care Unit) experience or competence
Experience of working in teams independently within a small team
Experience in all types of surgery, excluding cardiac and neurological
ALS/ILS desirable not essential as training will be given if requiredBenefits
