Description:
My busy Retford based clients are currently seeking an experienced People Partner to support their central HR function within Head Office Location.
My clients are a Trust of local School Academies with multiple sites throughout the region.
Day to day duties:
* Taking the lead on key projects and supporting academy improvements plans.
* Supporting the People Leadership Teams to build credible business cases including financial analysis, options and recommendations to maximise efficiency and value for money.
* Helping to manage the development and succession process to ensure there is effective medium and long-term people plans and talent pipeline, including early careers.
* Driving people engagement within a cluster of academy settings, making sure agreed actions are implemented, following up and ensuring continued measures are in place.
* Contribute and carry out the People Planning Process.
* Drive the Personal Development Cycle ensuring reviews & plans take place and staff are assessed.
* Coaching managers to ensure they understand the importance of quality conversations with their teams.
* Ensuring grievance, absence, staff wellbeing, underperformance and disciplinary procedures are managed effectively.
* Being the main point of contact with outsourced providers to ensure their needs are met.
* Engage with and challenge senior leaders about purpose, principles, process and benefits of change in staffing structures which are linked to the academy improvement plans.
* Analyse people related data and actions to influence future strategy.
* Lead and advise senior leaders on key consultations with trade unions on a range of people management issues.
* Review relevant employment law, regulations and policy. Keeping equity, diversity and inclusion on the forefront throughout.
The ideal candidate:
* Experience within a similar role.
* Level 5 CIPD.
* Strong stakeholder skills
* Happy working within academy settings
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to challenge where needed
Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
* Pay is £23.00 to £24.77 per hour, depending on experience.
* Hybrid working available
This role is temp-to-perm so our client is only looking for candidates who are seeking long term work.
