Description:

Our local authority client based in Watford are urgently seeking an experienced People Partrner.

*Remote working*

*£21.45 an hour PAYE*

Role Purpose

Providing expert guidance and solutions on complex people-related matters within an assigned nation or region, including employee relations, TUPE processes, support for tenders, and delivery of people management training, to enable the achievement of business objectives.

In this role, you’ll be responsible and accountable for:

1. Provide a first-class service of generic HR advice and coaching to enable leaders and managers to fulfil their people related responsibilities.

2. Utilising best practice and insight gained from continued learning to provide pragmatic and informed solutions and ideas, applied within an understanding of the operating context of the customer.

3. Sourcing and utilising existing data to produce quantitative and qualitative analysis, including trends and other insights that provide evidence and or a factual basis to enable decisions and actions to be pursued.

4. Working collaboratively and engagingly with senior management to provide professional and detailed knowledge, advice, insight and coaching for managers in the specialisms of resourcing, outsourcing, reward management, performance management and to resolve complex employee relations cases.

5. Providing quality advice and contribution of knowledge to bid and implementation teams, regarding TUPE and related matters, to facilitate and enable successful transfer of services (in and out).

To do this, you will have:

Qualifications and training

1. CIPD professional qualification or willingness to achieve

Skills, knowledge and experience

1. Experience in an HR Management and/or Business Partnership role

2. Experience of managing TUPE transfers and proven knowledge of the law affecting TUPE

3. Knowledge and application of a range of HR/OD theories, practices, frameworks and tools

4. A good working knowledge of employment law

5. Process consultancy skills with sound knowledge of coaching and leadership
