Key Responsibilities

Pensions & Leaver Administration: Accurately process and calculate all pension leaver documentation, service histories, certificates of pensionable pay, and member record updates for the LGPS.
Systems Management (iTrent): Input, maintain, and validate payroll and pension transactions directly within the iTrent HR/Payroll system in line with statutory guidelines and monthly deadlines.
Enrolment & Scheme Compliance: Support auto-enrolment and contractual enrolment processes across LGPS, as well as Teachers' Pensions and NHS schemes where applicable.

Immediate Operational Capability: The ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks under pressure, and quickly assimilate into the service without extensive supervision.
Clear Communication & Professionalism: High standards of confidentiality, customer care, and attention to detail when resolving sensitive pay and pension queries.
