Do you have experience delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school setting?

TeacherActive is currently recruiting a motivated and energetic PE Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary academy in Hertfordshire, starting ASAP.

This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to continue for the right candidate. The successful PE Teacher will join an established department and be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons across the secondary age range.

The successful PE Teacher will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging, structured and inclusive PE lessons
Encourage participation, teamwork, confidence and positive attitudes towards physical activity
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
Be confident teaching pupils with a range of abilities
Work effectively as part of the wider PE department
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to a long-term position
