Calling all Sports Coaches! Do you have experience working with children aged 11-18? Are you looking for long term work? If so, Simply Education may have the perfect opportunity for you! We have training in place to support you before entering the classroom if needed and your own dedicated consultant who can support any needs you may have.
Simply Education are working with a fantastic secondary school in Milton Keynes to find a Physical Education teacher/Sports coach to join their team as soon as possible. Successful candidates will be expected to work 5 days a week teaching practical PE and Games lessons, as well as the theory side of things for GCSE students. While experience is ideal, this position is also open to Early Career Teachers who fill all other criteria.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about sport and education who can build confidence in children and allow them to achieve their potential. The ability to build rapport with students is key, and excellent behaviour management is a must.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has recent experience teaching Physical Education.
• Has the ability to effectively manage behaviour.
• Has excellent knowledge of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 Curriculum.
• Can promote cultural development.
• Has great communication and lesson delivery skills.
• Can prepare and plan lessons in advance.
• Is comfortable delivering both theoretical and practical lessons.
• Can build rapport with both students and teaching staff.
