Position: PE Teacher - SEMH School

Location: Boston, Lincolnshire

Salary: From £30,000 per annum

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Full Time

Are you a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Simply Education is seeking an exceptional individual to join an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in the Boston area. This role offers a unique chance to work with children who need your support and expertise to thrive both academically and personally.

As a PE Teacher in this dynamic SEMH setting, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons that inspire and engage students. You will play a crucial role in promoting physical well-being and fostering a positive attitude towards physical activity. This role is on a temporary to permanent contract, providing an excellent pathway for career progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students.

Develop and implement individualised learning plans.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues to support holistic student development.

Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).

Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEMH or SEN setting.

A genuine passion for physical education and student well-being.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
