Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Potential Temporary-to-Permanent Position

Are you a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher looking for your next challenge from January 2027?

A welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for either a male or female PE specialist to become part of a supportive department and make a positive impact on pupils' engagement, achievement and wellbeing through sport and physical education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging students to develop a lifelong appreciation for health, fitness and physical activity.

The Role:

Full-time PE Teacher position.
Start date: January 2027.
Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4.
Planning, preparing and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Contributing to extracurricular sports activities where appropriate.
Opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
Be passionate about promoting participation, teamwork and achievement.
Have excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Be committed to supporting students of all abilities to reach their full potential.
