Position Available for September Start – Passionate Physical Education Teacher Needed in Newport

Are you dedicated to supporting and developing pupils? 

Do you have a passion for promoting Physical Education, health, and wellbeing?

We are seeking an enthusiastic PE teacher to join the team at a popular Secondary school in Newport. As a key member of the staff, you will contribute to the school's overall success, teaching students across all year groups. This is a temporary to permanent position.

The successful candidate will embody the school's ethos by providing excellent teaching, pastoral care, and actively participating in the extra-curricular programme.

The ideal PE teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a broad range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma;
Experience in sports coaching and/ or the education sector;
The ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions following the National Curriculum;
A knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management with the ability to implement strategies.
