Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Solihull area to recruit an enthusiastic PE Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive department committed to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing, and sporting achievement.

The Role
Teach Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and well-structured PE lessons.
Inspire pupils to develop their practical skills, teamwork, confidence, and understanding of health and fitness.
Assess, monitor, and support student progress across a range of sporting activities.
Promote participation in physical activity and encourage a positive attitude towards sport and wellbeing.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events where appropriate.About YouTo be considered, you will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school (KS3 and KS4).
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
