Prospero Teaching are working closely with a well-regarded independent school in Salisbury, who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Physical Education to join them from September 2026.

The school have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring PE teacher to join a thriving department in a setting where pupils are highly motivated, well behaved, and engaged in both academic and extracurricular life. Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - MPS / UPS + 10% uplift
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm, plus extracurricular commitments, fixtures, parent's evenings, and departmental meetings

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
Ability to teach a broad range of sports and activities
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular sport and school fixtures
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
