PE Teacher (KS2–KS4) – Specialist SEND School
Location: Stockport
Salary: £32,916 – £45,350 (M1–M6) DOE + SEN Allowance
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting on behalf of one of our specialist partner schools in the Stockport area for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their growing team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Physical Education within a specialist setting supporting children and young people (KS2–KS4) with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and a range of additional learning needs. The school also supports pupils who have experienced Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA), helping them successfully re-engage with education.

The Role
As the PE Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS2–KS4.
* Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils with SEND to achieve their full potential.
* Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
* Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
* Promote positive behaviour and personal development.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and CPD.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching PE across KS2–KS4.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Experience supporting children with SEND, including ASC and ADHD, is desirable.
* SEND qualification desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Resilient, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education.
* Committed to achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
