Physical Education Teacher

Location: Secondary Academy, Milton Keynes

Start date: September 2024

Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Pay: £(Apply online only) (Main Pay Scale for Qualified Teachers)

We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a suburb of Milton Keynes who are recruiting for an Physical Education Teacher from September 2024.  

The role would involve teaching Physical Education, predominantly to Year 7 - Year 13 GCSE and A Level classes (KS3/4/5). A Physical Education Teacher with at least 1 year experience teaching Business to GCSE is essential.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Be an experienced Instructor or Qualified Teacher of Physical Education, and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4

Highly knowledgeable in Physical Education GCSE curriculum with experience working with secondary age pupils
Have a background of at least 1 year teaching PE or placements completed at a Secondary School
Have a proactive approach and be able to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities to take part and learn new sports
Flexible and able to use initiative
Good team player
Great communication skills 
Confident and able to lead on 
patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
