Private Equity Real Estate Asset Manager for a well-renowned Investment fund who have two decades experience delivering accretive value and returns above benchmark. Hands-on strategic asset management, active leasing, business planning, repositioning and heavy redevelopment.

Client Details

Our client is a specialist PE Real Estate investor with c.25 years track-record delivering Opportunistic returns across all asset classes including Commercial, Alternatives & Living, Land & Development, Resi Master-planning & Strat Land. They are now in an exciting period of growth and this is a newly created role as they ramp-up transaction activity in the UK & Europe for a fresh €1.5bn fund.

Description

· Key member of the team, writing and implementing asset business plans.

· Involvement and input at acquisition, re-development phases, leasing, value creation and asset management during the hold period as well as assisting during disposal phases.

· The PE Real Estate Asset Manager will be involved with day-to-day portfolio management, optimising asset income, performance and capital value and will be a key point of contact with a variety of Tenants.

· Working closely with and supporting the Investment team during deal screening and due diligence, assisting to ensure all new investment opportunities are viable from a value-add perspective.

· Support the production of investment committee materials, assisting with Monthly / Quarterly / Annual and ad-hoc Investor reporting material.

· Asset performance monitoring and reporting

· Work across the fund, on multiple assets and portfolios at any one time - both on a granular and over-arching level.

Profile

The successful PE Real Estate Asset Manager should have / be:

· A BSc or MSc in Real Estate / a Built Environment degree.

· 3 years post-MRICS qualification highly desirable, but we will also consider Part-Qualified APC candidates with a great attitude towards working at pace and learning.

· For more experienced candidates (up to 5 years total), prior experience in a principal-led Asset Management position is desirable (those having worked in a PE Real Estate or Investment / Asset management business).

· Ability to read and manipulate excel models / schedules, ensuring all asset and tenancy data is correct and correlates across the fund.

· Hands-on UK Real Estate experience (European jurisdictions can be trained on the job)

· Ability to work and enjoy a fast-paced environment assisting and pitching in with busy teams. The mindset must always be: "can-do" and "I'll pitch in".

· Critical thinking, always looking to find a viable and profitable solution.

· Demonstrable track-record in value-add / true value-creation across multiple asset classes in a variety of UK locations.

· Ability to work and enjoy a fast-paced environment with significant UK workflow and travel with some occasional European travel.

· Well-developed presentation and communication skills are essential.

· Flexible / open mindset: Ability to work independently whilst also working in a tight-knit team, as well as becoming an integral member of small, selected project teams.

· European languages highly desirable but a necessity.
