PDI Technician
Client overview:
The Employment Group are working with a new and used vehicle supplier. The new and used cars are stored on sites across the UK, ready for delivery. Vans and cars are imported or purchased, service, valeted and undergo specification upgrades. Cars are delivered to customer's doors where the features of vehicle will be demonstrated by the delivery driver, offering a personal service.
Job Description:
A new opportunity has arisen to join the team working from the site in Upper Heyford.
Other duties may be required of the candidate in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Your responsibilities as a PDI Technician include:
* Carrying out technical preparation and quality control
* To carry out the vehicle Pre-Delivery inspection to manufacturers specification
* Ensure all vehicles are satisfactory checked against the approved quality control standards
* Check warranty / recall rectifications, applicable at the time of preparation
* Raise and highlight any bodywork defects
* Update manufacture / internal systems applicable as directed by the manufacturer / Greenhous Group
* Fit and apply any accessories requested
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Good Knowledge and experience of vehicle preparation
* Good organisational skills
* Previous experience of system platforms
* Good interpersonal skills
* Willingness to undergo further manufacturer training
Shift Times:
08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
Pay Rates:
12.22 per hour
