Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Fareham based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a successful department and will be responsible for leading a sub-team which is responsible for managing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with a passion for payroll and demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment. This position offers hybrid working upon completion of training.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
* Minimum of three years payroll experience in a fast paced environment
* Ability to motivate team members with one to one meetings/appraisals
* Start to finish ownership of large or complex payrolls
* Payroll bureau experience would be advantageous
* Overseeing payment runs
* Onboarding new client payrolls
* Compiling reports for senior management
* Management of escalated queries
