THE OPPORTUNITY:
My client is looking for a Payroll Team Leader to complete an 18 month fixed term contract.
You should have significant experience delivering larger and multiple payrolls, a strong grasp of current payroll legislation and practice including current and upcoming compliance issues, being able to take a lead role in a small team for these aspects as well as dealing with escalations and technical queries.
THE CANDIDATE:
Along with your payroll management experience you will have:
- Experince of payroll systems and software, good Excel skills, data handling and analysis skills, strong IT systems capability and high numeracy and attention to detail.
- A good understanding of accounting and reconciliation possibly including a finance / accounting related qualification.
- Ability to work manage your own varied workload in addition to supporting your team with your knoowledge and experience.
- You will enjoy the challenges of working with larger, multiple payrolls in a dynamic environment which will challenge and make the most of your knowledge and experience to date.
