Role: Payroll Support
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £27,000-£33,000 DOE
Pertemps are recruiting Payroll Support to join their Edinburgh based client.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime.
Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime hours.
Process payroll
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and reconciliations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulations related to payroll processing.
About You:
Previous experience in a payroll or finance-related role preferred.
Experience using iTrent desired
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of payroll processing regulations and best practices is a plus
