Portfolio Payroll are proud to be supporting a leading manufacturing business in their search for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their established payroll team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their payroll career within a fast-paced environment, supporting the processing of payroll for a large workforce and working alongside experienced payroll professionals.
The Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the payroll function, ensuring payroll data is processed accurately and employees receive a high level of service. Working closely with the Payroll Manager and wider team, you'll gain exposure to a busy payroll environment with opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
Processing starters, leavers and employee changes
Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
Assisting with statutory payments, deductions and compliance requirements
Managing payroll inbox queries and providing excellent customer service
Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting activities
Liaising with HR, Finance and operational teams
Assisting with payroll audits and year-end processes
Ensuring all payroll activities are completed within deadlines
About You
Previous payroll administration experience is desirable
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Excel and payroll systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Eager to learn and develop within payroll
