Position Title: Payroll Officer

Location: Newport, South Wales

Hours of Work: Full time/part time subject to discussion

Salary: £27,000 + FTE

Join one of the largest independent accountancy practices in Wales. This role has arisen due to expansion, ensuring all current team members remain in place. We offer coaching, support, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.

Main Duties:

Fully back to office working with all safeguards in place.
Assisting the Payroll Manager to run the client payroll portfolio, including:
Completing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls ranging from 1 to 150 employees using Sage Payroll.
Bacs payments using third-party payment mandates.
Submission of all HMRC returns.
Uploading pension data to appropriate pension providers.
Completion of year-end submissions.
Dealing with client payroll queries.
Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Accountancy Practice Payroll.
