Payroll Manager
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced proven payroll professional. The role of Payroll Manager will be working in an existing and fast-paced environment and will take full accountability for the ongoing management and continuous improvement of payroll. This role is a 12-month contract covering maternity leave.
Duties and responsibilities:
Deliver a payroll service to around 2400 employees which includes 2 pension schemes.
Work closely with the systems manager, external consultants and and finance partners on the maintenance of the HR and Payroll system with providing management information and any improvements initiatives.
Ensure the delivery of all high-profile projects and compliance with HMRC and Pension regulators.
Work closely with Financial Accounting and Governance supporting on both internal and external audits.
Required Skills and Experience
Considerable experience of working within a Payroll environment at a Senior Management level.
Detailed understanding of development in Payroll best practice.
Experience of working with a variety of payroll, HR, and Finance systems.
In depth understanding of all Payroll tax requirement.
