Payroll Data & Migration Specialist

Duration: 6 Months Initially

Day Rate: £450 per day

Location : Uxbridge (Hybrid)

We are currently partnering with a large organisation undergoing an Oracle Fusion implementation and are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Data & Migration Specialist to support a critical phase of the programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong data migration experience to play a key role in ensuring the successful migration of payroll data during the PPR1 and PPR2 testing cycles.

The Role

You will work closely with Payroll, HR, Digital Services, and implementation partners to validate, cleanse, reconcile, and migrate payroll data into Oracle Fusion Payroll. Acting as the payroll subject matter expert, you will help identify and resolve data issues, ensuring the programme remains on track and delivers a successful outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Support payroll data migration activities throughout the Oracle Fusion implementation.
Validate payroll data extracts, mappings, and conversion templates.
Review payroll elements, balances, pensions, statutory deductions, tax, and payment data to ensure accurate migration.
Perform thorough data reconciliation and investigate any discrepancies.
Identify, document, and resolve payroll data defects within project timelines.
Support payroll testing activities, including data validation and sign-off.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Systems, and project teams to ensure data readiness.

About You

Extensive operational payroll experience within complex organisations.
Proven experience supporting payroll implementation, transformation, or migration projects.
Previous Oracle Fusion Payroll experience highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, pensions, tax, and statutory payroll processes.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interrogate large volumes of payroll data.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving complex payroll data issues
