12 Month Maternity Cover
We are working exclusively with a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Payroll Coordinator on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role is based fully on site in Livingston.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Processing payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines
Maintaining accurate payroll and employee records
Processing starters, leavers, salary changes and other payroll adjustments
Carrying out payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Managing PAYE, National Insurance and other statutory requirements
Supporting year-end processes, including P11D administration
Processing wage arrestments and pension administration
Maintaining holiday and absence records
Preparing payroll and worked-hours reports for Finance
Responding to employee payroll queriesAbout you
Experience processing payroll, ideally end-to-end
Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and statutory requirements
Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
Good organisational and communication skills
A methodical approach and the ability to meet deadlines
The ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Good IT and payroll systems experience
