Description:

Our client is a highly successful food manufacturing company in Leicester.

Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a permanent Payroll Coordinator.

Main responsibilities for the Payroll Co-Ordinator include:
* Work with Managed Service provider to process all Group Payrolls (including Irish Payroll) to ensure that the company pays all colleagues accurately and on time.
* Check and maintain Real Time data to ensure the correct information is captured and uploaded from Real Time to the iHCM platform for payroll processing.
* Create and populate the Payment Data Entry grid on IHCM to process all other payroll data on any other exceptions e.g. Bonuses, Long Service Awards.
* Process all Starters and Leavers on ADP Real Time to ensure colleagues are paid accurately on time based on their contractual entitlement.
* Manage and report on both the Workplace Pension Scheme and the Company Pension Scheme and process the Starters and Leavers on their websites.
* Liaise with ADP to ensure that any legal deductions are set up and processed correctly in line with the third-party instructions.
* Make any required modifications and changes to Real Time and iHCM by raising Service tickets on ADP.
* Send the Funding report to the Finance department in a timely manner once the Payroll has been processed.
* Identify and develop process improvements with ADP to ensure robust control and efficiency.
* Prepare P11d data for the Tax Year and submit it to ADP for processing. Check and reconcile all P11d data has been captured correctly before ADP submission to HMRC on the company's behalf.
* Prepare the Annual Gender Pay Gap report and evaluate all the reporting categories for uploading on the Government website.
* Produce the International Database information for UK and Ireland to meet the reporting requirements of the Global Compensation and Benefits team.
* Prepare ad hoc payroll and employee related analysis information for any requesting department.
* Work closely with other departments such as HR, Finance and Operations to ensure that all payroll related processes are aligned and effective.
* Be the main point of contact for dealing with internal and external payroll queries and issues.
* Cover absence in the Payroll team to ensure continuity of service

The successful Payroll Co-Ordinator should have the following experience and skills:
* Minimum of 2 years payroll experience.
* Literate and numerate.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good working knowledge of PAYE, SSP, SMP, SPP.
* Good understanding of HMRC and legal requirement affecting payroll.
* Strong computer skills including MS office and databases.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent and effective communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with Payroll Provider, other members of the HR team and managers in the business as a whole.

Salary of up to £33,000 depending on level of experience
