Position: Payroll Co-Ordinator

Location: Alcester

Work Model: Mon-Fri, In Office (Option of Part Time can be discussed)

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing firm of Accountants in Alcester, Warwickshire? They are currently seeking a Payroll Co-Ordinator to join their team on a part-time or permanent basis. Reporting to the Accounting Director, you'll be responsible for managing the payroll and CIS function for a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

* Processing monthly and weekly client payroll for over 100 clients

* Managing all new starters and leavers

* Handling SSP and SWP calculations and recording

* Processing HMRC submissions including P45, P60's, and P11D's

* Staying up-to-date with legislation changes

* Administering auto-enrolment pension schemes

* Dealing with client and HMRC queries and escalating ongoing issues

* Managing the Construction Industry Scheme for relevant clients, including subcontractor verifications, CIS300 submissions, and monthly statement creation

Requirements:

* Excellent working knowledge of end-to-end payroll

* Experience with the Construction Industry Scheme (essential)

* Previous experience in a firm of accountants (essential)

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Proficiency in payroll software, preferably BrightPay and Employment Hero

Benefits:

* 22 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), increasing by one day for every full year of service, capped at 25 days.
